CAVITE - Lancaster New City continues to make the holiday season more cheerful for its residents and visitors by inviting celebrities and mounting family-themed activities.
During the "SineSaya" program held last December 8, visitors enjoyed fairground activities including face painting, balloon-popping, and ring tossing.
Children also had fun playing traditional party games such as hampas-palayok and pabitin. A giant inflatable pool was also set up for kids to jump and slide on.
The event was hosted by KaladKaren Davila whose entertaining quips received laughter from the audience.
Meanwhile, teen star Maris Rascal delighted her fans with her song "Ikaw Lang Sapat Na" as well as her version of "thank u, next" and "Last Christmas."
The University of the Philippines Manila Chorale also serenaded the crowd with an endearing rendition of classic Christmas melodies.
To make the event more exciting, gifts were also raffled off and given away to winners of an online photo contest.
Some families also laid picnic blankets while enjoying the back-to-back screening of "Seven Sundays" and "I Love You Hater."
The program, which was a part of Lancaster New City's "Christmas Happynings" event, was capped off by a fireworks display.
More weekly activities
The "Christmas Happynings" highlights activities for families to enjoy on all Saturdays of December.
On December 15, Lancaster New City held its first-ever homeowners' night that featured Christmas performances from the homeowners. It was also a venue to recognize the volunteers from 12 community phases who expressed the meaning of Christmas in a diorama-making activity.
